Multiple displays

    • Multiple displays

When I worked at Deutsche Telekom and later Lufthansa, my work space was always populated with at least two monitors. The bulky CRT boxes took up a lot of space, but the efficiency of working on more than one screen was undeniable. If I had several of those behemoths on my desk at home, it would have given the Mrs. an excuse to send me and my home office to the cold cellar. Luckily display tech has evolved and having more than one on my desk now just seems natural. With more display real estate I don't have to constantly switch between the applications I use the most.
